VillaNoria rental villas are located near Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic on the less touristic Samaná peninsula that borders the Los Haitises national park. Large numbers of Humpback Whales can be found in the bay of Samaná from January to March. The climate is pleasant the whole year round with temperatures ranging between 26-30 degrees centigrade and the trade wind provides a refreshing coolness on warm days. The rainfall is short but heavy showers, which is the reason why the country is so green.

It is a fairly mountainous region with some of the mountains reaching a height of approximately 300 metres. The winding roads wending their way through the mountains provide the visitor with magnificent views. The coastal area is generally a flatter region. In the surrounding area’s you can find anything from rice fields to waterfalls in the mountains. You can walk along old coffee trails or sandy beaches, visit cayo Levantado, the national park Los Haitises by boat enjoy the longest zip line of the Caribbean or have a horse back ride along the beach.
